Master the art of professional hair braiding in this one-day workshop led by licensed instructors.
 
Location: Online via Zoom or in-person at select SalonCentric locations, salon suites, or hotel conference rooms, depending on class size.
Time: 12 PM – 4 PM
Date: Sundays or Mondays (Our team will contact you to confirm the best day for your schedule after you sign up.)
 
What You’ll Learn:
  • Basic Braiding & Feeder Cornrows: Create intricate designs with precision.
  • Goddess Braids: Learn how to style elegant and durable braids.
  • Knotless Braids: Master this popular technique for a natural, lightweight look.
  • Hand Placement & Parting: Achieve clean sections and balance while adding hair.
  • Blending Colors: Seamlessly combine shades for a polished result.
  • Design Techniques: Perfect parting for various textures, lengths, and creative patterns.

  • Training in consultations, pricing, troubleshooting, and advanced care techniques
 
What You Need (if you don’t purchase a kit):
Rat tail combs, butterfly clips, scissors, rubber bands, 3 synthetic braiding hair packs, 1 Marley hair pack (or thick hair for faux locs), lighter, edge control, mannequin head with stand, pen, and notepad.
 
All Students Receive:
  • Ongoing technical support via email

    Here at the School of Cosmetic Arts our cancellation and refund policy assures that only a credit will be issued if you need to reschedule within the time constraints outlined in our policy.  

     

    REFUND POLICY
    1. No refund(s) will be issued for courses not attended.
    2. No refund(s) will be issued if classes are rescheduled, unless the program is completely cancelled and no longer available.
    3. All students that miss any class dates can make up hours and days in any other School of Cosmetic Arts locations.
    4. All students who miss any class dates are allowed to make up class hours and or days with a scheduled virtual class.
    5. Classes are available all year round, students that miss a class or need to reschedule a class will have a remaining credit for future class dates. 

    6. Failure to provide at least 24 hour notice of a missed class will lead to a late fee of $50 automatically charged to you.
